#Simon says stamps and dies full#
It is full of all of the designers amazing projects and all of the cards shared during the blog hop. Visit the Cozy Hugs gallery to see all of the creations that have been posted using the release. You can see the ENTIRE COZY HUGS RELEASE HERE.I attached this to the top left corner with foam tape underneath it. I used Lawn Fawn Doe and Walnut inks with the darker color just on the bottom. Next, I stamped "let it snow" using the CZ Let It Snow stamp and die from the new release.

I used Ranger Stickles in Frosted Lace over the snow areas on the birdhouse and over all of the snowdrops. I attached it over the front of the birdhouse. I also colored it with Copics, but added details with pencils to look like feathers. Next, I die-cut a bird and embossed it using the Friendly Birds embossing folder and cutting dies.

I glued all of the pieces together and attached it over the birdhouse on the front of the embossing folder with foam tape under all of it except the circle in the center. Then I die-cut the bird house using the matching cutting dies and also colored that with Copics. I used a white Uniball over all of the snowballs so I didn't have to worry about getting the blue markers on them. I then colored the pine needles and the pinecones. I first colored the background using gray blue colors and lightening them as I moved outward. I love how they look colored this way! I usually use some dark colored pencils inside some of the indentations in the embossing folder to add some depth and shading. I find that markers work the best because you just color the raised portions and the markers bleed out a little covering the part that moves down. I like to hold it tight as it goes through so it doesn't move at all or you get a fuzzy image. I lightly mist it using a Ranger Mini Misting Tool and then run it through 3 times to make sure I get a good impression. I first emboss the image with white cardstock. I started with the Snowy Birdhouse embossing folder. I use basically the same process for all of these cards made with the new embossing folders. And of all of the cards I have made using the new release (6 so far), I think this is my favorite one! haha Of all of the embossing folders in this release, I think this one is my favorite one. You can see that blog post here and here is an image of that card:Īnd now today, I have another card to share that uses the Snowy Birdhouse Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies. Then last night I shared another card using the Forest Floor Embossing Folder, the Sterling Labels Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies, and the Autumn Knits Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies. You can see that blog post here and here is the card I shared: On release night, I posted this card using the Friendly Birds Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies as well as the Sterling Labels Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies. Brilliant I tell ya! I have made 3 cards using several of the new ones that are part of this release. I'm kind of in love with SSS Embossing Folders and especially the newer ones that are coming with matching cutting dies. First, I will share with you all of my inspiration and then I will have all of the blog hop details at the end of this post. Today is day one of the two day blog hop celebrating the Simon Says Stamp Cozy Hugs release.
